New trading projects launched
In 2010, following the establishment of our new trading company, In Kind Direct has launched two new projects which will help us continue to better serve charities across the UK.
In March we launched our first affiliate scheme with the office supplies company Staples Advantage. Charities within our network gain access to preferential prices on office supplies and equipment – goods that we currently find it difficult to source in the quantities our charities need.
In addition, in January we began a new initiative selling product on eBay to raise funds for In Kind Direct’s core work. This project was set up as an alternative route for donated products which we were previously unable to accept from donors because they were either unsuitable for our charity partners’ needs or uneconomic to manage. So far we have focused on selling industrial size printer consumables which, whilst having a value for resale are not used by our charity partners.
Our priority is always making goods available to charities and the people they serve. Goods will never be sold on eBay without explicit permission from the companies that donate to us.

If you would like to talk about donating product, either for distribution via our usual channel to charity partners or for goods which might be suitable for sale on eBay, please speak to James on 020 7398 5566.
