Christopher Hyman - Chairman of the Board of Trustees

has been chief executive of Serco Group since 2002. He joined Serco in 1994 as finance director for Serco Europe. In 2000 he was appointed chief executive of a new division, Serco Global projects, where he was instrumental in developing new processes and capabilities at the leading edge of the Group’s activities.

J Michael Blackburn - Deputy Chairman

Retired as Chief Executive of Halifax PLC in 1998 and subsequently served on a number of quoted company boards. Currently he is the Chairman of Debt Free Direct Group PLC and the senior non-executive director of Freeport PLC. Mike is a trustee of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, a governor of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, a member of the court of the University of Leeds and a school governor.

Mike Fairey

is deputy group chief executive of Lloyds TSB, a position he has held since 1998. His career has been spent in banking with Barclays Bank, Barclaycard and TSB Bank before the merger of Lloyds and TSB.

Stephen Howard

joined Business in the Community in 2005, becoming Chief Executive in 2008. Stephen began his career as a practising lawyer and partner with Alder, Pollock & Sheehan Inc (Providence, USA), and was appointed General Counsel at Cookson America Inc in 1985. He was Group Chief Executive at Cookson America Inc from 1997 until 2004. Between 2004 and 2005, Stephen was appointed Group Chief Executive of Novar PLC, the global manufacturing company. He holds non-executive directorships for Habitat for Humanity Great Britain, Segro PLC and Balfour Beatty plc.

Allison Kirkby - Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee

Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee. Joined Procter and Gamble in 1990 and worked in various parts of the business, including a spell setting up P&G’s operations across the Balkans region. She was Finance Director, UK and Ireland until 2004 when she became Director EMEA Investor Relations and Commercial Development. Allison is now Managing Director for Wella Professionals UK and Ireland, P&G’s business in the professional hairdressing industry.

Nigel Palmer

Chief Executive of Ricoh and NRG Group UK. Prior to the two companies merging, Nigel has been the Managing Director of NRG since 1994. NRG Group is better known for its Nashuatec, Gestetner and Rex-Rotary brands. He is also one of the founders of the Landirani Trust, a charity set up in 2005 to support children in Malawi who have been orphaned through AIDS and malnutrition.

Cindy H Rose

Appointed Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Walt Disney Internet Group EMEA in February 2007. Cindy joined Disney in 1995 and has held a number of senior positions including Senior Counsel of European Legal Affairs and Vice President, Government Relations Europe for The Walt Disney Company and Senior Vice President and Regional Managing Director for Walt Disney International - UK, Ireland, Middle East and Southern Mediterranean regions.

Andy Rubin

is chief executive of Pentland Brands plc which owns or operates under license Speedo, Kickers, Mitre, Berghaus, Red or Dead, Brasher Boot, KangaROOS, Ellesse, Lacoste (footwear) and Ted Baker (footwear). He is a director of several charities.

Sir Tom Shebbeare

is Director of Charities to HRH The Prince of Wales. From 1998 to 2003 he was Chief Executive of The Prince's Trust.

John Patullo

Recently appointed CEO of CEVA Logistics, a global logistics service provider headquartered in Amsterdam. This appointment becomes effective in August 2007. Prior to CEVA, he was Chief Operating Officer, Europe, Middle East& Africa for the DHL Exel Supply Chain business, the logistics arm of Deutsche Post. He joined Exel/DHL in March 2005 from Procter and Gamble (P&G) where he was a Supply Chain Vice President. His various roles during 30 years in P&G included leading all supply chain activities in Asia and supply chain leadership for their global Beauty Care business.
