Free registration for charities to In Kind Direct

Charities can now join In Kind Direct for free to benefit from the goods In Kind Direct receives.

In Kind Direct, one of The Prince’s Charities, receives donated surplus stock from manufacturers and retailers for redistribution to charities. All charity partners pay is a handling charge for our service on each pack. The goods can only be used either to run the charity or to give to beneficiaries.

Robin Boles, Chief Executive of In Kind Direct, comments: ‘I’m so pleased that In Kind Direct is now in the position to be able to offer free registration to charities. Previously there was an annual registration fee, which we knew was a barrier to some smaller groups joining. By creating an online catalogue, thanks to generous funding from Procter & Gamble, we have been able to streamline our processes. This means charities and voluntary groups can immediately start benefiting from our service, stretching their budgets leaving them more money to spend on their clients.
