InKind Direct - a registered charity founded by HRH The Prince of Wales

Supporting sporting silver anniversary

In Kind Direct is proud to support the 25th celebration of the Special Needs Bowling Tournament being held at Lincoln Bowl arranged by the Learning Disabled Society at the end of July.

The tournament was the brain-child of Geoff Layne MBE and staff from the Lincoln Bowl and has been going strong for 25 years. This year there will be up to 100 entrants with special needs all of whom will receive a goody bag filled with goods from In Kind Direct.

In Kind Direct, one of The Prince’s Charities, receives donated surplus stock from manufacturers and retailers for redistribution to charities. The goods can be used either to run charity operations or to give to beneficiaries.

Robin Boles, Chief Executive of In Kind Direct, comments: ‘I’m delighted that In Kind Direct can help mark this occasion by providing items for participant goody bags. Enabling people taking part to receive high quality gifts is what In Kind is all about. We enable our charity partners to achieve more with their limited resources. We send our congratulations and best wishes for the future to all involved in this special event. ’

The tournament was held at Lincoln Bowl on 20 July.
