Who can join
You don’t need to be a registered charity to receive goods from In Kind Direct; you just need to be a not-for-profit organisation. However, there are some exceptions: we are currently unable to help schools (except for special schools), hospitals, mutual benefit societies, and bodies set up solely for the promotion of religion.
Goods received through In Kind Direct must be either:
- used to meet the operational needs of your organisation
or
- distributed free of charge in accordance with your organisation’s charitable objectives.
