In partnership with In Kind Direct, Crocs is donating a pair of shoes for every email sign-up via their website www.crocs.co.uk or Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/crocsuk. Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Crocs simply took 2012 x 10th anniversary to create an incredibly generous target of 20,120 pairs of shoes to give to those in need. A gold clog totalizer will fill up as people sign up and then encourages them to share the news with their friends to spread the word.

In Kind Direct, a charity founded by HRH The Prince of Wales redistributes surplus goods from manufacturers and retailers to UK charities working at home and abroad. Since foundation in 1996, they have redistributed £130 million in value of goods from over 850 companies. Over 5,500 voluntary and community organisations have received products via In Kind Direct, helping millions of people in need.

“We’re really excited to join forces with In Kind Direct, as it was important for us to select a local charity partner to mark the re-launch of our Crocs Cares programme in Europe. Globally, Crocs Cares has donated over three million pairs of shoes since 2007 and we very much hope that we will reach our goal of donating 20,120 pairs of shoes as part of our 10th anniversary celebrations,” states Michael Marshall-Clarke, Crocs Europe Marketing Director.

“This fantastic initiative with Crocs will make a big difference for the many charities up and down the UK that In Kind Direct supports. To small, local charities working at the grassroots, often with people in desperate need, this kind of support is invaluable. I’d urge everyone to get involved so that we can help as many people as possible” James Williams, Deputy CEO, In Kind Direct

In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Crocs is to host a combination of events and activities that will offer consumers an evolved experience of the brand, whilst paying homage to their heritage and original brand values.
