Product Giving for Social Good
Founded in 1996 by HRH The Prince of Wales, In Kind Direct distributes consumer goods, donated by companies, to UK charities working in the UK and overseas. We work with not-for-profit organisations and companies to help ensure that everyone has access to life's essentials and that no usable product goes to waste.
What we do
We distribute new, usable consumer goods, donated by some of the UK’s best known manufacturers and retailers, to charities, not-for-profit organisations and social enterprises working in the UK and abroad.
We are a lifeline to thousands of charities helping vulnerable people, allowing them to spend more of their money on support, not supplies.
Why our work is important
Long before families and individuals go to a foodbank, many have had to give up essentials such as toothpaste, soap, sanitary products and toilet roll. When someone can’t afford to maintain basic personal hygiene, this can have dramatic consequences on one’s self-esteem, access to work and place in society. We can change that.
Supporting In Kind Direct is a simple way to support not just one organisation, but thousands of grassroots charities across the UK tackling a wide range of issues, from child poverty to domestic abuse and disability.
Who we are
We’re a group of optimistic and determined problem-solvers who want to make a difference.
Our mission is to inspire product giving for social good. Get to know us a little bit better.
Transforming lives at home and abroad
