Petit Bateau’s Social Friday

Childrenswear brand Petit Bateau UK is donating 1 item to In Kind Direct for every product sold during their 'Social Friday' initiative between 25th and the 30th of November, with donations being doubled on Cyber Monday! This will enable our network of charities to have access to essential clothing this winter, helping to keep communities across the UK warm.

Maya Pierreux, Head of Business Development at In Kind Direct, says:
“We are delighted to partner with Petit Bateau UK on this initiative. For many, this Christmas will be another hurdle to overcome after an especially challenging year. Our charity partners support communities up and down the country, providing products that give dignity, warmth and self-esteem. Petit Bateau’s generous initiative will enable our network to keep providing this vital support, at a critical time for many families. We couldn’t be more grateful.”
See what our charities are saying:

We are a charity based in one of the largest socially disadvantaged housing estates in Northern Ireland, in one of the most affluent towns. Clothing and footwear have been invaluable to us supporting children in these changing and uncertain times, especially since the Covid pandemic. We have many parents struggling, especially keeping up with the cost of replacing clothes and footwear for growing children with extremely limited funds. More recently, we have helped parents who have lost their jobs due to Covid – they are desperate and seriously worried about Christmas just around the corner. Thank you for all your help; it’s been invaluable to the parents and children who use our services.”
-Spokesperson, Kilcooley Women’s Centre

“I did not have a lot of money to buy second-hand clothes for my newborn, so to be given some new clothes was overwhelming! Thank you.”– Charity recipient
