Bee Wirral CIC is one of our invaluable network partners who recently hosted a visit for some of our team and Unilever. They offer a variety of services, such as classes for parent and baby groups, and wood workshop sessions that support the mental health and wellbeing of local men. Products they access from us are crucial for the running of Bee Wirral CIC, enabling them to support more people with essential products and keep their facilities clean.
During the second burst of our campaign with Tesco and Unilever, where Tesco customers could buy two personal care items and Unilever donated one to us, we connected three of Unilever’s social influencers with organisations in our network in their local area. Each influencer got involved as a volunteer while showing how the donated Unilever products were being used. We want to say a massive thank you to our network partners who opened their space to allow this to happen.
Feedo Needo offers food and basic necessities to people in need in their local community. The family influencer @raisingwestons was able see the amazing work of Feedo Needo’s community café, and the great impact having access to quality products from Unilever has on people’s lives.
@growingwiththeehsuns visited MammaKind who run a baby bank, collecting pre-loved clothing, equipment, toiletries and nappies for babies and children in Lewisham and the surrounding areas. They support mothers and families facing poverty, through professional referrals. The personal care products they received from Unilever’s donation have been made into care packs for parents, ensuring they feel supported and cared for.
Love, Amelia is a children’s charity offering support to families experiencing poverty and hardship across Sunderland and South Tyneside. They take donations of pre-loved baby items and gift them to families who need them. They were kind enough to host @raisinglittlesheks who got to see what goes on behind the scenes at Love, Amelia and meet with their lovely volunteers.
We hope to receive another donation of thousands of personal care items from the Tesco and Unilever in-store campaign. We’ll keep you posted on when this donation will arrive. For now we have Unilever gift sets available to access here.
