Show your Value for Money to funders

Last year every £1 that you spent on items unlocked £10.50 in value. Collectively, we estimate that we were able to unlock a total £27m across our charitable network.  You’ve told us that with the money you save you can help more people and improve your existing services and activities.

We want to celebrate you!

As part of our 25th anniversary celebrations we have launched our Powered By Kind campaign. Our ambition is to unlock even more key essential products and welcome more organisations so that we can support even more people together.

5 Simple SEO tricks

SEO literally stands for Search Engine Optimism.  Simply put – it’s what gets your site seen by the maximum number of potential users.  Increasing your traffic and getting your charity’s name out there!

Alleviating hygiene poverty together

We carried out a survey with YouGov last month to understand more about social issues in GB. It revealed that 16% of 18-24 years olds have been left no choice but to forego hygiene products due to budget restraints and 50% reported dental care products (toothbrushes and toothpaste) are most important to their self-esteem and confidence*.

Barclays Community Relief Programme

In Kind Direct is delighted to have been chosen as one of the 100 UK Charities to receive a donation of £100,000 from the Barclays 100×100 UK Covid-19 Community Relief Programme.

Behind the scenes with our Customer Support team

We love hearing about all the ways you’re sharing out products this festive season. Appreciation packs, care packs, St Nicolas Day gifts and catering items for winter gatherings are just a few recent examples.

Supporting Generation COVID

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has been huge and has affected most people across society.  But the combination of negative economic, social, education and work consequences for young people has led to the term “Generation COVID” being specially coined to define the 18-24 year olds in society.

Supporting people pushed further into poverty

With the Furlough scheme ending this month, energy bills likely to rise next month and the £20 a week uplift to Universal Credit set to end, we know that many of you expect demand for your services to increase further, to help people through a difficult winter ahead.
