Firstly, we’d like to say a huge thank you for completing our recent survey! Your feedback and stories really do help us secure a more consistent supply of products.   We use the insights from these bi-annual surveys to communicate your needs to help secure more product donations, and in our reports to highlight our combined impact and the people helped.   

Here’s a snapshot of our key findings: 

  • Half of the people you support are experiencing hygiene poverty.
  • Three-quarters (73%) of you said products accessed through IKD help people valued and cared for.
  • A fifth (21%) of you said the savings unlocked help you balance the books to replace losses in income. 
  • A third (32%) of you told us your income has decreased over the last 6 months.
  • Nearly a third (27%) will be focusing on using products as a gateway to accessing other services e.g. debt advice, training or counselling. 
  • Over a third (36%) will be focusing on using products to provide facilities to help reduce people’s utility bills e.g. warm spaces, cooking spaces, laundry facilities. 
  • In addition to personal hygiene and laundry products you most wanted a regular supply of cleaning supplies.
