Supporting families to have a Summer of Play

The summer holidays should be a time for children to look forward to, to have fun, freedom and time with friends. We believe every child should have the opportunity to play during the summer months and go back to school or start nursery equipped ready to learn, and that no one feels alone when trying to walk the ‘tightrope’.

Poverty Proofing© and hygiene poverty

We are pleased to host a guest blog from Chloe Maclellan, Poverty Proofing Coordinator at Children North East. Quo Vadis Trust

Quo Vadis Trust (QVT) provides supported housing for people in South East London with mental health needs. Their work has a powerful impact for the people they work with directly and the larger community. They are entirely reliant on charitable donations to provide activities and events.

Partnering with Foxway to bridge the digital gap

In Kind Direct are proud to have partnered with Foxway, a leading provider of refurbished technology including laptops and computers. This partnership aims to help bridge the digital gap as digital poverty continues to rise across the UK.

Network visits – Thank you

Bee Wirral CIC is one of our invaluable network partners who recently hosted a visit for In Kind Direct and Unilever. They offer a variety of services, such as classes for parent and baby groups, and wood workshop sessions that support the mental health and wellbeing of local men. Products they access from us are crucial for the running of Bee Wirral CIC, enabling them to support more people with essential products and keep their facilities clean.
