Be More Digital

Charitable organisations face all sorts of challenges on a daily basis. Gaining additional resources can therefore make a huge difference and that’s why we’ve been working with Charity Digital, who share our passion for maximising the good that business can do in supporting communities.
For some context about what Charity Digital do, they are a registered charity themselves that helps other charities increase their impact by being more digital. To date they have helped 77,000 charities save in excess of £284m on software. They have two primary charitable activities:
- Providing access to the software products charities need, at dramatically reduced prices.
- Publishing content (articles, podcasts, videos etc.) and running webinars and events that educate charity professionals and volunteers on how to make better use of digital tools and technologies.
They also have hundreds of free educational resources on topics like fundraising, volunteer management and donor marketing.
Charity Digital host an annual #BeMoreDigital conference, and this year’s conference centred around the theme of using digital tools to help charities overcome the cost-of-living crisis.
We were delighted to host a stand at the conference and get to talk to charities about the social impact of product-giving and the support that we provide at In Kind Direct. Charlotte, our Partnerships and Impact Director, also joined a panel discussion at the conference on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) standards, alongside Marie Curie and Sage.
