Charities are the safety net for our society, every day. During the current pandemic their work is #NeverMoreNeeded and In Kind Direct has been privileged to connect our corporate partners with a network of thousands of charities, community groups, food banks, NHS Trusts and schools to support the people who need us.

During the current coronavirus crisis, the generosity displayed by our donor and charity partners has highlighted how unique this position is – and has reminded us of all the unforgettable partnerships from the past two decades.

For this month’s #DonorFriday, we want to shine a light on the incredible product donations from our longstanding partner PZ Cussons and their commitment to supporting communities by supplying antibacterial hand wash.

The last few months have highlighted to all of us what makes up life’s essentials that we so often take for granted. Whether it’s toilet rolls, cleaning products or hand sanitiser, we have been reminded of the value they hold in keeping us safe, clean and well.

In April, we saw a 120% increase in orders from our network and supported over 1,400 charity partners. As we continue to face an unprecedented demand for life’s essentials, we remain hugely grateful to the donor companies offering their incredible support during the current crisis.

Our committed warehouse team worked tirelessly to get orders despatched. Over 2,500 orders were distributed across the UK in April alone, meaning In Kind Direct supported almost 1,200 charities, food banks and community groups with essential supplies.
